The search for the meaning of life, and other things

Silent seas never make skillful sailors.

I , am a realist. Always believed that optimism and pessimism are highly circumstantial. Though life, the female canine as it has always been, makes me dwindle away towards the negative. I always believe that if a glass is half full, maybe someone found out that the drink doesn't taste good enough.

What I delved into writing may appear to be a magnanimous claim over proficiency in philosophy, that it isn't. Life is too simple , yet too complicated to be wrapped up in few million words. There are fewer words that are as subjective as life. A loose comprehension of ideas, experience, glued up together to closely resembles what we dream.

Its better when intents are dubious,
and the things done, are not just malice
I don't say better, I say easier.

This is what I did, followed a single stream of this loosely connected idea-frame of life, in search of a way of my own.  In this quest I had an epiphany! There is a God in this world , and then there is the devil. The manifestations of the terms used vary, and are rather vague. I personally am belligerent towards the idea of some white clad beard man or some red guy with bovine horns over its head. What I stress here , is the inherent characteristic of good and bad. Again , good and bad is highly subjective so I try stressing them in an objective manner. Good is what choices you make, Bad is what choices you weren't able to make. It shall be a rudimentary classification but it serves the purpose.

The epiphany involved the idea that the god and the devil are countering. Something, in a more sensuous way, like a war dance. Why a war dance ? Because the things that are good, and the things that are bad, are supposed to be in a balance. They should counter each other , as yin does to yang, because, the world that we live in, isn't predominantly biased. Its realistic. And when two equally powerful things go to war, it appears as a war dance. Pure, even-handed, each complementing the power of another. But why a war dance ? isn't it destructive nonetheless?  Because destruction is beautiful.

To the people with whom i shared this point of view, had one similar question. "You want God and Devil to partake in a war dance? Won't it result in mass destruction ?" .  To which I have just one answer, Its not what I want, its what I see. The world YOU see, is often restrained by your knowledge and your imagination. The god and the devil are already in a war dance. They have always been. Only if we stop ourselves , we realize how beautiful and ugly it is , at the same time.
On the contrary, we never really have the time. Quoting William Henry Davies , and Chuck Palahniuk,

We have no time to stand and stare. We chase cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need.

Do I consider myself special? No. I am just someone who stops when everyone is still running around , because I love to witness this eternal dance. I do it everyday, sometimes consciously , sometimes otherwise. You do it too. The only thing that makes us different is that I know how to see it.

Why life then ?

So, we are back at square one?  We still don't know why we live? What I know, somehow , as a whole we are born to ruin earth to some extent and die. To continue this cycle of birth and death, atleast for now. Continuously churning the cycle of creation and destruction. We are one insignificant little particle of dust floating on a big rock in empty space. But, the realization of this sole fact , is what makes us different from everything around us. It is what makes us special. The very negligence of this fact is what makes us hurry, move on with our eyes closed. Once you realize this fact, you stop. You give yourself a pause, and observe what enormous beauty lies in front of us.

The war dance between creation and destruction.
The God and The Devil.
The Good and The Bad.

And once when we realize it , the regular routine that we were so busy with, becomes insignificant. That's when we change. That is where we leave the realm of delusional retards and manifest ourselves into something larger than life. That is where we become God.

But even as we, as an individual realize what larger than life things happen around us. Even if we come face to face with our insignificance inside this cosmos. One fine day, we have to unwillingly join the marathon of life. Somehow or the other , you shall be forced to join the masquerade.  What then?
Indeed , we have to again join the stream due to some metaphysical limitations. But once you watch that cosmic dance , once you realize its enormity, you are never the same. You shall never again be the part of the crowd hurling towards no-one-knows-what. You shall be able to see more, that is, if you wish to see!

What is this life if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare.

Take a stand, once you encompass the bigger truths of life , the smaller ones fall into place. Dare once, to take the Red Pill , instead of the Blue one. After all. .

Silent seas are the best to enjoy a sunset!
